Just checked with Skoda UK, the Enyak does not have V2L capabilities
, it is now off the list.
After doing some digging, it seems VW will offer V2H at some point in the future but, contrary to the main players who will AC biderectional for V2x, VW will offer DC biderectional. The issue is, DC would be too expensive for home use en mass and Bidirectional AC is where it is going to take off industry wide. Think VHS/Betamax!
VW seem to be keeping it in house, compared to say Hyundai or the rest of the industry going down the Bidirectional AC route which in essence means the owner can choose which Bidirectional charger to use, such as Wallboxes Quasar 2.
On the other hand VW who developed their BiFi in Sweden and is currently availble in Germany, the V2H functionality will only be available for customers with the integrated Home Energy Management System (HEMS) from Volkswagen partner HagerEnergy, and to those vehicles with a big enough battery and with the ID. Software 3.5. Not only will this sytem tie you to VW brands, it will cost substantially more compared to a choice of third party charger manufacturers, when the technologhy becomes mainstream.
