Does OVO charge anytime work during the day, say I plugged in at 10am and said I wanted it charged by 5pm, would it work at the 7p rate?
Tbh, I’ve never had reason to try.
This is what they say:
“The Anytime Rates are applied 24/7/365 as long as you’re using Smart Charging. This doesn’t mean your EV will always charge 24/7/365, but using it this way will ensure you get the cheaper rates.”
It seems it’s down to how much excess/cheap electricity is on the market? Windy/sunny days would be best, I guess, but I always charged it at night and it worked fine.
