Once I explained this she told me I could charge the vehicle at Aldi down the road. This is not a fats charging point but apparently this is totally acceptable to them as a ways and means to excuse giving me a grant towards a ICE car.
Not only are Aldi chargers 7kW (if there working), there is a maximum stay of 1.5hrs. Perhaps phone them back up and tell them this
