BMW AP prices will fall, no doubt.
They will need to sell them to reach the ZEV mandate of 22% EV manufacturing and sales in 2024. This rises to 28% in 2025,and 52% in 2028. Essentially, next year ICE vehicle production will be cut and EV,s increased. ICE cars will be ordered months in advance just to get one, and Motability customers wont have a look in.
Getting fined £15K per ICE car over the mandate is not a good business model.
As suggested, the cheap chinese EV imports is killing BMW. The chinese EV,S are quality products and more technologically advanced than European ev,s.
The next 6 months will be interesting for Motability offerings.
