Been looking around for a while as I’ve had Tiguan since 2020, on an extended lease. My list was Renault Austral, Nissan Qashqai and Hyundai Tucson/Sportage. After reading many stories about the Hyundai/Sportage PPF exhaust problems with doing low mileges etc, I decided to leave well alone. I loved the look of the Renault Austral but felt a little claustrophobic inside and with the 3 stalks on the back of the steering wheel, I found it awkward to use, shame as I loved it in the red with a black roof! I then looked at the Nissan Qashqai Tekna and liked it. Had a test drive of the E power automatic and I was blown away by how quiet it was even when the engine kicked in! It was a lovely car to drive and is pretty much packed with goodies. The electric driver’s seat with 2 memories is a great addition, with heated front seats & steering wheel & windscreen. Decided to order one there and then. Went for the Bose sound system upgrade and Gun Metallic. This will be my 3rd grey car in a row, they hide the dirt pretty well, that’s my excuse anyway lol! It will arrive mid-October.
