DJW it’s going to the dealership on Friday as I’m away until Wednesday. I will give them the chance to fix it, which I presume they will fix most and i believe it’s the best option if I end up wanting to end agreement and order something else. I’ve given up on the V2L as Abercol says they have us in the terms and conditions.
That leaves me with two problems. The app doesn’t work, it does not send the commands and going by a FB group it never will. I’m not going through a winter without preconditioning the car. I said this on a few threads on here going back over a year that it’s high priority now.
That leaves the range which at around 220-230 now in perfect temperatures for EV driving ie no AC and no heating on, then what’s it going to drop too over winter with heating, wipers and lights on a lot longer. My old kona returned a similar range in winter. I have managed to get it up to 3.6 mpkw this last charge which should get me a 262 range. But I’m not, also have not and will never drive a car like that and I didn’t need to do it on the kona. The last charge I have not went on the motorway, not went over 65mph, not used climate, didn’t renewed to mind as it’s mild, I’ve drove in eco mode which is very slow in the e3008 and not been heavy footed. I’ve drove like that for the last 230 miles and it’s soul destroying. I didn’t need to do it in the kona so dont see why I should do it in the e3008. Yes the e3008 is bigger and heavier, but surely the bigger more modern battery should level it up a bit. They claim 326 and I was expecting about 280 driving normally, so 220/30 is rubbish in good weather conditions.
