Your figures are a bit out there @kezo This is how I would work it out;
1) Total costs of charging = £13.35
2) Petrol costs £39.67 which, added to your charge costs of £13.35 gives you a total running cost of £53.02 (we are in agreement up as far as this)
3) £53.02 divided by 468 miles equals a running cost of 11.33p per mile (not 8.6p)
4) Based on your petrol cost of £6.18 a gallon, your ICE equivalent is therefore 54.5 mpg (618 divided by 11.33), which may be more in line with your expectations. I’d say that’s a pretty good result if you know you could have charged more within that 468 miles.
