Brilliant lol, when the screen wouldn’t work today she just turned to me and said ‘daddy this car is rubbish’. Also said that she likes pot noodle so forget about that other thing (V2L).

I really want to like this car but so many wee gremlins in such a short space of time have just peed of a man who’s already angry about the V2L thing, especially the last line in Peugeots customer care email.

I ain’t even spoke to the dealer about these problems as I know some will iron themselves out and the others will be ironed out by the dealer. I believe to just let it go for another week and hopefully that’s the end of them, example the parking break warning hasn’t came back, so hopefully the others won’t.

Some great things about it. I don’t know much about ride, but this thing just seems eat tarmac, it just goes over everything with little fuss. I eventually got the car charged on a 150kw I think charger for 17 minutes and got 28kw which was about 100 miles which impressed me, It’s very quiet and I love the steering wheel, it’s even better than the old 3008 wheel.

So what happens next? I keep it and everything gets ironed out and v2l is rolled out next year then I’m very, very happy, but, what if V2L gets rolled out say December 25, or gets delayed until 26, that half my lease gone, what if it’s only capable of going into e3008s built in 25, what if it’s available to all but at a very expensive price, I can’t see it being free. All buts, but buts that are no good to me.

Other options. Kona is two small, ev6 two expensive and I don’t know when the ioniq 5 will be on or what price it will be. My thinking tonight was to just give up on V2L and go bigger in size. I might go and have a look at the scenic tomorrow as it mid trim which is a good price has all and I think more than the top spec e3008. Or go back to the start and the enormous boot of the Enyaq. The most sensible solution is stick with the e3008 and hope everything gets sorted which it will, but that I can get v2l early-ish next year at a reasonable price, or free. Or try bigger scenic/Enyaq and buy a portable battery pack with solar panel. Saw a decent one earlier capable of running 1800w for up to 40 minutes and both would come in at just under a grand, that and the scenic ap seems ok
