Good point about the Touran @clappedout I’ve never looked at it but we did check out the BMW 2 Series Active Tourer, also a small MPV, but the boot was too small. I was horrified at the option prices on the new Tiguan (including over £2k if you want leather trim), but £1,750 for a sunroof on a Kodiaq, when Skoda always used to be about value for money, is shocking!
P.S. It took me a few months to get @kezo to correctly call his car a Tucson (as in Arizona) rather than a Tuscon (as in TVR – although that’s spelt Tuscan) 😉😂 Funnily enough, we had a guy here last week measuring up my wife for the sling for the person hoist we have ordered. When I said it was for a Tucson he looked a bit puzzled and said “Can I just check. Do you mean a Tuscon?”. No, I said. The ‘c’ is before the ‘s’ and it’s a Tucson as in Arizona, not Tuscon as in a TVR. “Well I never knew that” he replied! A mate of mine has one and he calls it a Tuscon as well 🙄😂 Mind you, I’m guilty of still pronouncing Hyundai as ‘Hi-un-Dai’ when we are now told that it’s pronounced ‘Hyun-day’. Life was so much easier when the cars we drove were mostly British built with British names. Admittedly they were mostly crap 😂
