UPDATE: Honda UK have authorised a fix but it’s not the control module as first thought. They have got to replace the whole battery at a cost of £23k ! The dealer also has had to hire a crane at a cost of £1k to lift the battery out. Honda UK are sending out technicians this week to do the work so hopefully I’ll get it back next week. At least I’ve still got the MG4 to run around in thanks to Motability moving so quickly to get that sorted. So I’ve had my new car for 8 days and the dealer has it for 4 weeks and counting. Not the best start with a new car. Did consider rejecting the car but then that will just prolong my frustration so fingers crossed it will be plain sailing from here on. Time will tell.
