My point, is these articles are nothing short of pointless. They are always based during summer quarter, which happens to be the cheapes’t rate and based on charging from home. You don’t have to be genius to know, if your able to charge at home and your journey’s are always in the range of your vehicle, it is going to be cheaper than running a fossil car.
And because Im able to tick all of those boxes I took a leap of faith and got an EV
If I didnt have home charging ( thats my main box imo to tick) then I would not have even considered an EV at this point in time
As it worked out like many others on here the only thing I have ever had to pay for is fuel so I thought why not spend a hell of a lot less.
Im lucky and very thankful that I am as ideal an EV candidate as you can get
But .Gov is in cuckoo land thinking EVs will work for everyone
Public charging imo needs to be no more than 35p across the board otherwise .Gov targets are for the birds
