    The Skoda Kamiq is good, as is it’s sister car the SEAT Arona.  The SEAT is cheaper and has much more standard equipment.  Another good thing about the Arona is that there will no doubt be stock somewhere avoiding the long waits. If there is no specific reason for wanting a manual, why not try an auto. The SEAT and Skoda have decent DSG auto gearboxes.

    I have no experience of the Citroen C3 other than i know there is a new model out in the next few months.  I think the electric version orders start at thge end of July and the petrol orders open end of August.

    I’m unsure if boot space is important to you but the Kamiq and Arona have 400l of space and the C3 only about 300l.
