Doesn’t matter what you use it for. It’s your car for your benefit. You can go for a 3 hour drive at 2am if you wanted. You can pick mates up from the pub if you like. Do a round trip of the UK, as long as you’re driving or are in the car it’s for your benefit.
as for the truck, as has been stated, you should be looking into contacting the police for a failure to stop. If you know their registration then tell Motability insurance whom will then contact their insurance. If you’ve a dashcam or video this would help massively.
