Its not that old tech…motors are the same uprated ones just released by VW, so 286hp for the RWD, charging is up to 180kw, which matches the fastest of the MEB crowd and the battery pack is LFP, so it’s longer lasting, has no nasty nickel or cobalt and its happy to charge to 100%.
Pity it still has a few VW foibles thrown in, the touch sensitive buttons and sliders, the 2 switch front/rear window thing. Not as big as the Kuga, but then, they wouldn’t want it stepping on the Mach-E’s toes.
