On the basis this topic will be helpful it would be good to know which company you are with and which tariff you are on. Octopus Energy have the most tariff options and they kindly group their tariffs so as those with electric cars, battery storage, solar or none of the above have a choice of tariff. If you are new to Octopus or are thinking if joining i would have a good look through the website and focus on the tariff that best suit your needs. If you are with a different supplier but think it would be of benefit to other members please tell us about it.
