To be honest EV are no good only if you want to charge at home as the infrastructure is crap no covers when it is raining, heavy cables for disabled and not wheelchair friendly if you have one for long journeys having to hang around waiting for charging when filling up with petrol or Diesel fuel is done in 5 mins, who wants this I do not and now that car manufacturers are seeing we do not want them the likes of Tesler are now laying off there workforce most have now see the light they are not the future are more toxic that combustion engine cars which are now euro 6-7 and now we have other fuels being thought of and like my Hybrid which can recharge itself and you can fill up within a few mins it is great.

What!? Have you never queued for petrol?  I know I have, many times in fact.  At best you’re labelling all public infrastructure with the faults of the worst case, at worst you’re either passing on FUD spread by others with no clue what they’re on about or your just saying stuff with no clue.

Some public chargers can be difficult for wheelchair access, some can have long queues on busy days but in both cases there are solutions.  If there are long queues, then there will almost definitely be someone around willing to help a wheelchair user to charge if required.  Unless you’re travelling overnight, there’s usually others around and we’re quite a helpful bunch, someone will step up if they see someone struggling.
