I have RAC cover for my private car and have used them twice (never had a breakdown in a motability car), both times they were with me quickly – 30 mins and 40 mins and they were fantastic. Followed me to tyre place and helped speed things up by working with them. My mum has AA and again has only had excellent service from them on the one occasion when her clutch went. So I for one am happy with both AA and RAC, of course accepting that some certainly don’t seem to be as lucky.
