I have the opposite when using the Firestick. Amazon, YouTube and Netflix are far superior on the Firestick Max compared to the equivalent apps on the Sky Q box. Could you try a different HDMI socket on the TV, they are not all HDMI 2 on some TV’s? Also, try playing with the video resolution and colour depth settings on the Firestick.
