I doubt your local dealer really knows what is happening where the scheme is concerned.
I agree with the above quote from kezo. Dealerships are gradually being treated more like ‘agents’ (they have become order takers) by manufacturers who give them very little or sometimes no advance information with which to inform potential customers. They often know less than those of us on here who browse and research the vehicles that we may be interested in ordering.
I know some well meaning ‘Motability specialists’, and I also know an equal number of ‘salesman’ who will say anything, whether or not it is true to get an order.
Cancelled orders are increasing exponentially because of this lack of transparency, and the upset and frustration it can cause.
