If you remove it from its cosy prison is it markedly improved? Can you remove it/the lid?
Is it possible the thing is wired upside down? I doubt they’d be silly enough to give the fitter the option but that says nothing for the loom manufacturer who last I heard was coming under mortar attack in Ukraine
