Just to add check Octopus rates for your own area as it can vary by a lot

Best to put in your actual energy usage when getting a tariff quote as the avg used as default is to low imo

Just to add and highlight some info for others who are in the same position as me

    ………………………………………………………………………………………

I may consider OI at some point

I have a PAYG meter at present and a smart meter would then be needed

I see there is a Octopus Smart meter installation wait list (time unknown) and the list is only for those who are already an Octopus customers

Which means I would have to first have to accept another unwanted Octopus tariff whilst waiting for a smart meter install before being put over and onto OI

Octopus Smart meter installation wait time details are unknown to me same with my present supplier BG

So as before I will await the expected x2 reduction in energy prices/April/Summer and see how things pan out.
