They removed it because we asked them to change it. It was a seven foot tall rad said it had to be so big because air source heat pump but it never heated the room as rest of house would get warm and switch heating off and bathroom wouldn’t heat up reliably. Other than the bathroom the ASHP is brilliant now we’re used to it.
Fan heater is just for popping on for 5 mins to heat room up before a shower then turn it off. Yeah it’ll cost more to heat the room all the time but ideally being just heat the room when needed.
£12,000 for that btw from the council grant. I have no clue why they’ve left that bit of wall unclad, haven’t treated the ceiling, why they didn’t pull all the coving out and plastic line to the ceiling etc.
They’re in for a shock because I’m not signing it off in this state
