@kezo, the agreement reference number on the paperwork is, 96384996. It’s the only ref number I can see.
Ok thanks, it doesn’t sond like MO’s ref number, which is usually 6 numbers. Were you told anything about a facelifted model? The sales guy said they had an email this morning fr0m Kia, saying new orders were 14 weeks.
I’ve gone through all the paper work Motability sent and other than my customer reference, the only other reference number is the one I posted earlier.
I obviously don’t have the insurance documents as I haven’t got the car yet, only the Direct line pre contract paperwork. On the pre contract hire agreement, under key financial information the vehicle make and model is stated and under that is what’s called, Profile Code A-C23D. Not sure what that’s for?
When I first went to the dealership to look around the car and book the test drive, the Motability man said 14 weeks. This changed after the test drive and order, to 16-18 weeks. On the Kia Owners forum they have a list of people who have ordered, and when their Sportages have arrived. It seems very up and down, some 5-7 months, others 2-4 months, and one bloke waited 16 months. I looked through the models ordered and colours, but there was no pattern as I could tell which models were quicker or slower to build.
What I will say is, it’s going to be worth the wait if my test drive and all the reviews I’ve watched and read.
