Declan why are you discounting the Honda ZRV ?
Hi Mike, I test drove the advance model twice and was really happy with the car. Loved the way it drove and pleased how loaded with kit it was. After the first drive, which was only for 15 minutes or so in 30 & 40mph zones, I was 95% there with ordering it. However, the second test drive on faster/different road surfaces changed my mind. The road noise was really intrusive and loud. This was mentioned in a fair few youtube videos that I had watched). I like a quieter, calmer and more refined cabin experience.
Secondly and importantly though, (which I missed in my earlier research) there is no adjustable lumbar support/control. I have a long back (being 6’5″ tall) and lower back issues going back over 40 years. Being able to get that back support right is crucial for me.
A real shame for me, as those 2 issues aside, (plus the fact that the dealership here in Northern Ireland doesn’t offer more than one colour FOC!) I would most certainly have gone for the car.
