Have now been informed that my car is a write off, and I’d usually be allowed the courtesy car for 3 months, but the GAP team at the insurance have made it clear that as I am ordering my replacement, and due to living in a rural location with no public transportation, and due to my mobility needs, that I should be able to keep hold of it until the new car arrives.
I am just coming up to 3 months without my car and that terrified me.
I called Directline and they said I will not be left without a car after 3 months.
