Oh no! In my view there incompetent and should be suveying a property properly. Is it your own house with typical drive running along side of house? Any assistance going forward, don’t hesitate giving me a shout. Saddly your to far for me to install one. I would take several close up photo’s showing both the road (dropped kerbs), your drive and house front. The charger rigmarole people, some seem to be having, makes me want to have an EV, just to see what nonsense they tried on me lol.
It’s mind blowing. It’s a rented house but we’re end of terrace and have a huge chunk of our back garden surrendered so we can have a drive within the property. The estate was built around families, so the houses face the central green areas with the rear gardens facing the roads around the estate, so the only place for a drive or garage is the rear of the houses. I’m taking more photos in the morning, when there’s daylight, they got a quick one of the car in the drive because it’s there charging overnight.
As I said, I’m pretty sure it’s better to play completely dumb and get someone out to look around for you.
Anyhow, back to topic:
As things currently stand, the Ioniq 5 Ultimate AWD with tech pack completely outclasses the rest for toys, the comfort seats are something else and worth the £500 extra for the RWD version but without being able to get the pricing right on the AWD, I’m not sure what I’d do there. The EV6 is missing some key things the Ioniq has, so it depends on how important they are for you.
Of the known common faults, the 5 has an ICCU issue which screws up the 12v battery and renders the car useless, parts are known and currently hard to get hold of. There’s a non Hyundai part available which, apparently removes this issue completely but voids your warranty (not something I’d consider on the HV warranty). The EV6 has problems with the rear charging flap sticking, it seems less of an issue and is equally solvable but can also render the car inoperable if you run out of charge and can’t get it.
I won’t advise you which way to go, each person has slightly different requirements, but I did end up ordering the 5, Namsan Edition RWD but here in Cornwall we really don’t need AWD unless we’re passing a farm in wet weather.

I'll try to give my honest opinion but am always open to learning.
