@kj35 most EV’s on the scheme at the moment are potentially crossovers, rather than SUV, which is more akin to your Outlander.
The floor in a EV is in most circumstances raised to accomondate the battery, which can impact under thigh support, so I would most certainly recommend an extended test drive in any you try.
Out of the EV’s on the scheme, perhaps the ones most suited are the Hyundai ioniq 5, Kia EV6, Skoda Enyak and Audi Q4 e-tron, BMW iX1. They are also the better EV’s on the scheme and also have a claimed range of 300 miles plus, bar from the iX1.
Rumour has it, the new Renault Scenic electric is joining the scheme early this quarter, which if it does may possibly worth a look.
For me its most likely going to be a PHEV SUV this time round, for security of longer journey’s and cheap running costs locally 🙂
