I did research on the Enyaq Coupe for months before deciding to order the car.
The Upgrades to the MEB platform & the revamped infotainment to version 4.0 made the decision easier. I’ve also ordered the 85x as it has the updated battery management the same as the VRS and also upgraded batteries from a different manufacturer, from memory. Also the rear motor on the 85x is the new Ap550 higher torque motor.
I test drove the same car but a 80x Sportline Coupe and it drove really well, quite fast and quiet & handled firmly. To say its a 2.4 tonne car it can certainly go around corners. The car looks modern in design & the build quality is second to none both inside & out. A lot of the old extras now come as standed too & with a competitive AP makes the car affordable. The car I ordered works out at £55k, how the he’ll could you afford to buy one at that price. Leasing companies are charging £800 plus a month for a 85x Coupe without the benefits of Motability.
So for me, it was a no brainer. It was the correct height for me, I can get in & out easily even with poor mobility & the driving position makes maneuvering the car easy. It’s my choice I know but, it’s a hell off a car and I think one of the best value cars on Motability.
