I’m not going to lie i have a brilliant GP! Nothing is too much trouble for him. He calls me regularly just to see how i am. He’s popped in to see me on his way home from work on more than one occasion. He’s young, full of energy, and he probably still thinks that he can make a real difference in the world of medicine. My fear is that his exuberance will quickly become tainted with work load, long hours and mountains of paperwork. @kezo Your ‘call centre miracle healer’ comment was a proper rib-tickler for me cheers buddy!
Following my past experience of having a wonderful female GP that went above and beyond to seeing her dedication and kind hearted thoughtfulness eroded by peers and workload resulting in her leaving the practise and go onto serving in a Private Practise
To this day I swear that her supporting letters when making my DWP Claim gave me the strength to fight on and successfully beat the buggers
Yes such a shame that those who have the human touch are crushed by a system that over the last 13yrs by design and lack of funding is imo quickly heading towards a USA Style health insurance scheme
