The Qashqai should be a lot better for fuel economy. I have a 1.5Tsi manual Ateca Xcellence Lux and in the current cold weather (around town) I’m lucky to get 35mpg. One other thing to be aware of, the Lux gets the 19″ wheels, these still come with awful Bridgestone tyres, the 18″ are OK but the 19’s have poor wet grip/traction and are useless in any amount of snow from 1cm upwards, almost no grip at all 🙁
I’d like to say I’ll be glad to get rid of them when I swap cars tomorrow but it seems it’s a 50/50 chance of getting 20″ bridgestones or Hankooks on the new Enyaq. Knowing my luck it’ll beBridgestones 🙁
