Don’t try reporting them to Motability because the practice of getting the lower AP is against Motability rules, so it may cause you more hassle than you bargained for.A dealer wanting more money for the same car is also against the Motability rules. Dealers have to follow a code of conduct with Motability. If one dealer allows a change of order (at a reduced cost), then so should all dealers.

Morability rules are that the price should not change once a contract has been agreed.
If a dealer wants to reduce that price, they can, if they want to increase the price (in certain circumstances, change of model etc) they can, but not if the contract doesn’t change.
