I am on Octopus Tracker, todays rate is 12.8 and tomorrow will be 12.1p/kWh. If you can move a substantial amount of your white goods to overnight, Intelligent Octopus is worth looking at. I am at home all day, so use a fair whack of energy through the day and it puts me off changing. Also my mileage is fairly low at around 8k miles a year. As an addition I will say that I have seen the tracker over 20p/kWh this year so it has not been as high as the standard tariff. ?
BUT if you do a lot of miles, you will save so much money when charging at 7.5p/kWh. It has to work for you though and having a driveway, you’re in an ideal position to make the most, esp if Motability fit the charger FOC. It’s always good to have choices.
