If you know which car you want I’d order now, you can always cancel if you want to. And if the AP drops in Jan then it’s a 2 min job for the dealer to re-submit the Motability order at the new price.
Completely agree. It’s perfect timing if your order window opens at the end of a quarter. If there’s a car you like, and you are happy with the AP, then it’s always best to order, as the car may be removed, or the AP increased, when the next quarters list comes out.
Once you’ve done that, sit back and relax and wait for the next quarters price list. If the car has disappeared or the AP has increased, breathe a sigh of relief. If the AP has dropped, as you say it’s a 2 minute job for the dealer to re-do the admin on the Motability system (doesn’t affect the order). Best of all, if a better car comes onto the scheme, cancel the order and place a new one. Daft to sit on your hands IMHO.
