I think the best way of Motability promoting EV’s is to reduce the AP’s
100% correct. EVs should be available to everyone. However, it is up to the consumer to decide whether an EV is right for them.
Motability should ‘encourage’ the take-up of EVs, for environmental reasons if nothing else. ✅
If drivers are being ‘encouraged’ to go EV, then this incompetent Govt needs to get its act together (joke) and ‘encourage’ suppliers to deploy much more charging infrastructure as soon as possible. In addition, the Govt also needs to ‘encourage’ energy companies to produce more UK based electricity.?
Unfortunately this will take many years, if not decades…??♂️
