Well, after 56 enjoyable months with the Tiguan, I changed to the Qashqai ePower, which is smaller & doesn’t have as many toys to play with, but to counteract the lack of toys ,in my opinion , is the 100 % electric drive, quiet instant acceleration response and with an epedal which does most of the braking for you , with a small , mainly unobtrusive ICE to charge the battery and eliminate range anxiety.
As already mentioned , mine does not have as many toys as the Tiguan, ( my choice) but the Tekna version does .
Also, the Qashqai is slightly smaller, but quite refined, and is easy ( easier perhaps) to get in and out of with wide opening doors, especially the rear doors, at 90 degrees!
The flexible floor in the boot comes in handy.
If I had been asked to choose between the two, having no experience of either, i would probably have chosen the Tiguan, but now that I have 11 months experience of driving the ePower, I would choose the Qashqai!
