Yes, a lot is the stupidity/lack of care of these pedestrians but it would be nicer if you could settle with a warning before moving otherwise you’re either sitting waiting or backing out regardless of who’s behind.
Personally, I’m not inclined to do what I want at the risk of others, even if those others don’t prioritise their own safety.
