Would be nice if some of these manufacturers like Ford offered us more than the base model. It’s not as if there’s a massive price increase by going one model up with cars like the Mustang and i4 etc.
Absolutely. Ford, Audi, even the original offerings for the ID5, ID4 and Enyaq were base models. Invariably, if there’s only 1 model available you can bet it’ll be the base model. What’s frustrating is that many with old models that would really help those of us with back problems or upper limb weakness, things like heated seats, electric seats and power tailgate.
I can understand withholding the top spec, like the EV6, and Ioniq 5 as there’s a cost implication to us and the manufacturer should be confident of selling all of those they need to.
