A friend of mine who ordered his i4 as a Motability customer has just sent me a copy of what he’s received. I’ve deleted his name for obvious reasons.

Just so you are aware, BMW have now removed the i4 from the Motability scheme, which has been replaced by the iX1.
The application with Motability was placed in time, however BMW are currently reviewing the latest orders placed that still do not have a build slot.
Your order is still awaiting a build slot, so I will send an update when further information is available.
