Well I have an update. My local Ford dealer called me today and was full of excuses as to why they won’t be giving me a 48 hour test drive. First excuse was the demand has been overwhelming and the car is fully booked. My wife checked on her way home and just like it always is, the car was sitting outside the dealership after they’ve closed. Second excuse is they are putting too many miles on the car and don’t want to let it out until they have a replacement, which contradicts excuse number one.
This is the same dealership that huffed and puffed when my son asked them to unlock the demonstrator so he could sit in it to see what it was like.
Will be interesting when Ford head office call me and ask how I got on with the car.
