Ohme do have an ability to do it but its quite rudimental – called Solar+Grid. This feature allows the charger to utilise surplus solar power (when it surpasses 3A) and supplement it with power from the grid as required to achieve a minimum of 6A during a scheduled session.
I want to be able to have the vehicle plugged in on a sunny day and only take from the sun and not supplement with grid.
In the winter when there isn’t enough solar, I will use my energy supplier (octopus) intelligent tariff that will charge the car overnight much cheaper than at the day rate.
