The Ohme charger will allow me to access my energy providers cheaper tariff schemes for EV. During the cheaper times, the house energy will also be cheaper so I can charge my battery storage cheap. It however, isn’t smart enough to be able to farm the excess solar I make during the Summer months and put that into the car.
The solar charger which integrates with my solar setup can’t access my energy provider cheaper tariff for an EV but can work intelligently in the summer only to charge my car wit excess solar that my house will produce.
