I thought that this doesn’t/shouldnt affect Skoda as their motors are built in their country?
If you google it the new APP550 motors are built in the factory in Germany, they are shipped and assembled with the EV in each country, the issue is not the EV plant but the components for the new APP550 motors that is causing the bottleneck therefore production will affect all plants
normally when this happens they can build the vehicle and add the component to the pre built vehicle for example is a time or other component has a delay, but not with the motors as this would require every vehicle built to be disassembled motors added and reassembled its just not feasible
