Hi POPS, The “6” is joint 1st on my list next to the Suzuki Across PHEV £5300. We also discounted the CX60 after test driving.

The “6” @£3500 is a bargain and you get a free charger, allowing you access to the the cheapes’t tariffs on the market. With the Across I would have to either use a domestic plug or purchase a suitable charger adding another £450 (as I only have a couple of 3 phase units lying about in my garage), to gain access to the cheaper Octopus or OVO tariffs. Ontop of that the Across does not come with Satnav and I don’t have unlimited data plan on my phone, to use Google maps.

So on paper the “6” is the better choice, especially with a heatpump as standard but, I’m still unsure which way to go. My main concerns are range in the winter, limited 100+kW chargers on the route I take every 3 weeks to see family. The small town where I live is difficult to park at the best of times, let alone finding a space to park a vehicle nearly 5m long. Then there’s the RWD aspect of the “6” and the need for me to get in the worst of winter conditions, is why I’m undecided and wished the AWD more powerfull “5” or “6” was on the scheme in top Ultimate spec. Equally if the EV6 didn’t have such a wide margin of AP, the GT line AWD would have been my choice however, considering the extra £900 for an heatpump it becomes expensive for a scheme car I will never own.

Did you listen to the Bose in the “6” as I didn’t find it overly good and lacking in bass compared to other cars with more speakers.

I also expect the AP of the “6” to rise in Q1 but, can’t makeup my mind what to do, its beggining to irritate me!
