    Ohme seem to be problematic and Motability don’t seem to care.

    I’m 14 months into my EV, charger still not fitted and Mot continually say “it’ll be done in the next three weeks” and “my manager will call you” and neither happens. I’ve had my supply unlooped, paid £250 for a new path after the unlooping required a trench and new power line into the house, relying on public charging all this time. Ohme finally came to do the survey – £481 extra charge and classified as ‘a complex install’

    I’ve pointed out to Mot that the install is far less than 15m, runs at skirting board level through the hall and back room, and only requires one hole drilled through the back wall, and two interior holes, one through a wooden step at the base of the staircase and one through a single skin plasterboard wall into the kitchen. Ohme have even specified in my quote that I need to pay for ‘ladder hire’ despite the install all being at ground floor level!
