I know that I’m very lucky to have the option of a mobility car and I do appreciate all the benefits the scheme offers, so my apologies if this seems ungrateful. Whilst I understand the benefits of the Mobility scheme will always come with “catches”, namely you have to order cars direct from the factory; It does seem that this policy and the associated delays unfairly affect Mobility members. As a group, we all depend on our vehicles and their adaptions and as a new joiner, I don’t have an existing mobility car to use. I find the supply chain excuses hard to believe, especially when new cars are advertised with dealers, often at a discounted price. We already have enough difficulties to manage without the additional stress provided by this situation.
The Sear Taracco is essentially the same car and may have quicker lead times or if your lucky enough to get one from stock.
