I suggest first step is fully read the manual, all 700+ pages. In my first month, I moaned and groaned at my dealer, largely provoked by what I had read in forums and yet most solutions were in my local control. All of the driver assistance, regenerative braking and similar can be user adjusted. Simply reduce or adjust their levels to suit your driving style. If you don’t indicate, expect lane departure resistance. I am a much more disciplined driver now.
Folk moan about the DAB radio dropping out, I did at first, but I now set favourites and mainly use the steering column radio controls. It’s no longer a problem. Similarly, my wireless charger now works fine having had a software update. You do need to position your phone accurately over the sensor, but that is no different to a similar freestanding charger that I have.
Facial recognition now works fine for me, but I deliberately pause and allow the sensor to do its job. As a spectacle wearer, I deliberately glance in both wing mirrors (as one should) so the sensor can properly scan my face.
The tank is 50 litre and some cars have a filling issue that can be dealer remedied. I have driven 300 miles without refuelling. Ignore the range estimates, they don’t become accurate for at least a month and there is an also a desirable software update. The car definitely learns from your driving style.
