The BMW garage that supplied my first two cars were excellent. Rather the guy I dealt with is excellent. Shout out to Peter Lewis at Cotswold Hereford. This was over a decade ago mind you, though he’s still there. I think that’s a sign.
VW in Loughborough were a mixed bag. The initial rep was a bit 50/50, he was replaced with a new rep who was perfunctory. They were gone by my first service! I think that’s a sign.
Never felt discriminated against, though in COVID times we definitely fell down the pecking order, which is a shame. I have a thick skin and a weighty walking stick though ?
