I have a vert simular situation here, so i have a 23 plate Ford Puma, i didnt build the spec as my previous ordered vehicle (astra) took 18 months and ended cancelling
It doesnt have a rear reversing camera, which i want on it, i spoke to ford, whom i got it from and they said they cant add after the car arrives it has to be done when its build but they gave me a number for a 3rd party who that dealership send ALL their customrs too when customers wanted things added, even on motobility. i spoke to motobility and they said no Ford has to do it themselves, i explained ford and the ones to tell me to go this guy and this guy has told me he has installed extras on hundreds of motobility vehicles and its never been an issue
Motobility said no, Ford has to, so i spoke to a evans halshaw dealership and they told me, they can get whatever part i wanted ordered but they wont fit it because Ford dont give any of the franchise dealerships like evan halshaw the manuals on how to install, what cables are needed extra, and this was true with other dealerships i rang, so like how do mototbility expect me to get ford to do it if every ford dealership seems to be a franchise and they arent given the instructions on how to do it so they wont..
Baffles me, but i dont wanna also go against motobility rules either and just get it installed and removed later
