I recently had to cancel a VW Tiguan order, the dealership were absolutely fine about it but I was told head office may contact me to ask about it. I was also told that due to a high rate of Motability cancellations dealerships are being charged a fee for every cancelled order . The dealer told me that they are considering asking for a deposit at point of order, which would be refunded if cancelled, as head office believe people are less likely to cancel once a deposit is paid.
