Our first MB car, a Kuga, was ordered using our existing car , a Volvo S40, as a part exch.
The first Ford dealer (Kendal) said they did but, importantly, wouldn’t give a price but said they would send to auction and then see what they got. Didn’t think that was acceptable as it was much too uncertain. I called a Ford dealer in Liverpool where we visit regularly and they not only said they would accept the Volvo, offered a great price that not only covered the AP, but gave me a lump sum back as well.
guess which dealer got my business.
